The Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM), an Arizona based organization committed to raising the level of community care, announced that seven AAM Community Managers and support staff were both finalists and recipients of their prestigious G.E.M. Awards (Guiding Excellence in Management).

The Manager of the Year award categories were designed to offer recognition for Community Managers who consistently demonstrate excellence in all that they do, who go above and beyond for their communities with higher standards of professionalism and who promote the industry in a positive manner. AAM Community Managers Kim Rinehart, Leisha Collins and Bill Bates were all 2016 Finalists for this award. Karen Matthews, AAM Area Manager, was the recipient of the Manager of the Year award.

The Rising G.E.M. award categories were designed to distinguish Community Managers with less than two years of community manager experience who continually display excellence in all that they do, who consistently go above and beyond for the communities in which they serve and have an unwavering passion for the industry. AAM Community Manager Jennie Nathey earned this award.

The Certified Arizona Association Support Professional (CAASP) "Excellence in Service" award recognizes community management support professionals who display integrity, reliability and the ability to interface with Managers and other industry professionals. Anthony Baca, AAM's Director of Administrative Services and On-Boarding Operations, was a 2016 Finalist for this award.

The Perseverance Award honors Community Managers who have faced significant challenges and continue to provide excellent management and support for their community/communities. AAM Area Manager, Scott Ring, earned special recognition for this award.

"The dedication, leadership and level of care our Managers and support staff put forth every day for our communities truly inspires me personally," said Amanda Shaw, President of AAM. "We couldn't do what we do as a company without them and embrace the notion that our employees are the single most important factor for our continued success. The honor of being recognized for the G.E.M. Awards reflects our companywide commitment to excellence and delivering total peace of mind to both our clients and employees."
