Employee Spotlight: Tracie McGuffie

Tracie

From master-planned, to active-adult, to traditional neighborhoods and condominium properties, the full range of associations we serve numbers in the hundreds. Document Specialist Tracie McGuffie provides administrative and operational support to AAM’s growing Developer Services team. Tracie is a tenured AAM employee with over ten years of Community Management experience. Having started with the company in 2005, she currently serves as AAM’s resident “Jenark Guru”. Jenark is our fully integrated anagement software for homeowner data.

With her mouse clicking, phone ringing, keyboard clacking, Tracie is a one woman orchestra, conducting a symphony of developer requests. Her responsibilities include writing design guidelines, fine and collection policies, resolutions, closing instructions, and preparing indicated actuals, all vital pieces of a very large ensemble. 

Her position also requires meetings with our Developer clients, processing architectural submittals, and day-to-day Jenark support functions.

Of all the tasks that Tracie is responsible for, writing design guidelines is on the top of her priority list. She explained how hours and even days can go into writing a set of guidelines for a community. Researching plat maps, photos, governing documents and even the occasional site visit, gives her all the necessary information needed to complete such a project.

“The diversity of responsibilities and being a part of the creation of a community are what make my job enjoyable,” Tracie explained. “When I spend multiple days writing design guidelines for a master planned community I develop an affinity for the success of the development.”
