Letter from the President


At AAM, we have much to celebrate as we look back at our many accomplishments during the past year. In 2015, we applauded a milestone anniversary, grew into new markets, expanded partnerships and continued our commitment of giving back. We are proud of what we have achieved over the past year and would like to share some of the highlights.

Silver Anniversary

We celebrated our 25th year in business. Over the past 25 years, we have grown to employ 500+ talented professionals and manage 580+ communities out of eleven offices in six states. AAM has come a long way since December 1990, when founder Laura Ziff was the only employee operating out of a 100-square-foot executive suite in Phoenix.

Acquisitions & Growth

We have expanded into two new states. AAM acquired a boutique management company in San Antonio Texas in early spring of 2015. Asset Property Management Inc. (APMI), employs 24 industry experts and manages 39 communities. With this acquisition, AAM promoted General Manager Jeff Dixon to Vice President of Texas Operations. The opportunity to be in one of the largest and fastest growing markets in America was perfect for the direction of AAM's vision.

We are thrilled to also be providing community association management services to North Carolina, in both the Raleigh and Charlotte markets. Expanding on our developer and builder partnerships, AAM is continuing to demonstrate our commitment to delivering total peace of mind ensuring that the services we offer are distinctive, valued and preferred over others.

Social Responsibility

During AAM's Annual Employee Meeting, management challenged our employees to give back to the communities in which we serve, the same communities that make AAM successful. A company goal to volunteer 3000 hours to outside organizations was made as a way of saying thank you to all of our clients. And we are pleased to announce that our employees met that goal.

59% of our community managers have been with AAM for more than 3 years.

All of our Community Managers are certified or working towards obtaining their certifications through local and national trade organizations.
