Lakewood Community's Fall Picnic/Movie Night

On Saturday, October 22, 2016, the Lakewood Community Association held its Fall Picnic/Movie Night. With over 250 residents and their families in attendance, it was a very successful and enjoyable event! Seeing residents and their families enjoying the day always brings a big smile to your face.

For the event, tacos and all the fixings were prepared and served by Tacos El Buen Gusto. They also had snow cones that were donated by The Family Church of Christ. For entertainment, they had a 5-piece band called The Hype that played for several hours, engaging residents to sing, play instruments and dance along. Additionally, AZ Inflatable Events supplied a bounce obstacle course and popcorn to go along with the featured film, Zootopia. AAM also donated 15 cases of water, and Committee member Estella Silver donated soda and the ice to keep it all cold.

A special thanks goes out to the Social Committee members Dave Miller, Elisabeth Light, Jerry Hartrim, Gail Wais, Phil Williams, Scott Seelig and Joe Conboy, who along with Sandra Smith, were instrumental in organizing and overseeing this FUN event!!

Photos were taken by resident Rich Tancredi, as well as Community Manager, Sandra Smith.
