April 8, 2016 Arizona HOA Legislation Update #11
On April 6th, a conference committee was convened to amend HB2106 homeowners' associations; enforcement grace period. The conference committee became necessary once the bill sponsor (Lovas) became aware that he did not have the votes to pass the bill on Final Read in the House. As expected, the committee removed the swamp cooler provision. No other changes were made. All that remains in the bill is the change from 10 business days to 21 calendar days for the response time provided homeowners when specific information is not provided to the homeowner in the original notice of violation.
