My background includes 26 years in the management industry including HOA, Commercial and Rental management. I have been with AAM for 10 years and have worked my way up from Community Manager to Vice President of Operations for the Tempe and Tucson offices.
I am very excited to be granted this great honor and responsibility by such a wonderful company as AAM. Leading my new office team into greater challenges and working with the exceptional team in this office will be very fulfilling. Managing a range of communities from 16 units to associations with thousands of homes brings something new to deal with and learn each day. Especially going into the budget process where we will work with our Boards to establish their 2014 annual operating and reserve budgets. Fall landscaping is always a challenge as just when the grass is looking its best we cut it all off, dry it out and overseed for winter turf. Teaching landscape maintenance and sustainable landscape maintenance/management are a passion of mine! Actually teaching and guiding managers are probably the most exciting function of my career. I love it when the “light bulb” goes off and someone gets what I am trying to teach them! Continuing education of managers is something that is so vital in our industry as the market changes daily and we have to be able to adapt to the needs of our clients. A manager with good resources can help our Boards and guide them in the right direction while understanding we work at their direction and being flexible.
