Building Homes for Heroes

On Veteran's Day, November 11th, PulteGroup's Built to Honor Program, in partnership with Building Homes for Heroes, presented a mortgage-free home to a Purple Heart recipient and his family.

PulteGroup's Built to Honor Program teams up with various non-profit organizations, such as Building Homes for Heroes, to identify veteran candidates. Through their joined efforts, they gifted a specially modified, fully-furnished, mortgage-free home to Corporal Daniel Dobay, United States Marine Corps (USMC) veteran, and his family. By removing the financial burden of a mortgage and the cost to maintain and furnish a home, these incredible programs allow the family to focus solely on moving forward and starting the next chapter.

On November 11, 2019, AAM attended the "Final Reveal" event hosted to present Corporal Daniel Dobay and his family their new home in Berkshire Forest, an AAM-managed community in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Additionally, AAM was honored to have the opportunity to make a monetary contribution to directly support Corporal Daniel Dobay.

"PulteGroup's Built to Honor program and Building Homes for Heroes are exemplary organizations that truly do amazing things for deserving military families," said Greg Franks, Vice President of AAM's Southeast Operations. "It was an absolute honor to support such an admirable cause, as well as take part in the "Final Reveal" event for the Dobay family."
