Tom Gordon

Regional Vice President

Tom began his career with AAM in 2011. Bringing with him over 20 years of property management experience, he has expertise in managing a wide array of properties, including malls, retail centers, commercial properties, warehouses, medical office buildings, and high-rise condominiums. Given his vast community management knowledge, passion for the industry, and ability to build lasting client partnerships, he was quickly promoted from Community Manager to Area Manager to Regional Director, and most recently to Vice President of Tempe Operations.

Tom is a Certified Arizona Association Manager (CAAM) through the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM) and has also been nominated for their coveted GEM (Guided Excellence in Management) Award.

Wendi Shepard

Regional Director

Wendi Shepard is a dedicated industry professional with over three decades of experience in property management, beginning her career in multifamily housing in 1990 before transitioning to HOA management in 2003. She joined AAM in 2016 as a Community Manager and now serves as the Regional Director of our Tempe Office. Wendi holds the CAAM designation through AACM and brings a wealth of experience and leadership to her role.

Her well-rounded expertise includes managing single-family communities, condominiums, and commercial associations. Wendi is particularly passionate about educating both homeowners and team members, fostering stronger communities through knowledge and support. Her depth of experience and commitment to service make her an asset to the clients and communities she serves.

Marcelle Mietus

Area Manager

Marcelle Mietus is a strategically-minded Finance and Community Management Professional with over 15 years of experience in multi-family and residential communities. Since joining AAM in 2022, Marcelle has brought her financial expertise and leadership skills to community management, progressing from Community Manager to Area Manager within just two years. She holds a CAAM designation through AACM and has a strong track record of increasing revenue and productivity through financial modeling, project leadership, and operational efficiency.

Marcelle’s background includes corporate financial planning roles with Fortune 500 companies and a foundation in multi-family property management. She holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Her favorite part of community management is making a tangible, positive impact on residents' quality of life, helping create peaceful, well-maintained environments that people are proud to call home.
