HOA Experts in Central Indiana

Indianapolis isn’t one HOA market. Across the metro, boards manage a mix of established neighborhoods and newer communities, ranging from mature HOAs with older infrastructure and long-standing covenants in areas like Carmel and Zionsville, to growing communities and newer builds you’ll find across places such as Westfield and Fishers, plus ongoing development throughout parts of Greenwood and Brownsburg and continued condo/mixed-use activity in downtown. Each stage can require a different approach from a management company.

If your board is dealing with slow response times, reports that are hard to decipher, or a manager who’s stretched too thin, you’re not alone, those are among the most common reasons boards reach out.

AAM doesn’t try to solve it by being bigger. We solve it through a structured approach: a dedicated local team, credentialed leadership, and technology that helps keep boards informed, without requiring them to chase updates.

Senior Regional Director of Indiana

Led by Leah Messmore, PCAM

Indianapolis is led by one of Indiana’s Most Credentialed HOA professionals, Leah Messmore, who brings over 24 years of extensive experience in community management to AAM. With her entire career dedicated to the industry, Leah has served in various roles, including Community Manager and Regional Manager. She joined AAM in September 2024 as a Regional Manager and was quickly promoted to Senior Regional Director later that same year. In her current role, Leah leads our Indianapolis office. Her commitment to operational excellence and proven leadership abilities have been integral to her success in this key position.

With a degree in Marketing, Leah has also obtained her CMCA, AMS, and prestigious PCAM designations through the Community Associations Institute (CAI).

For single-family communities, AAM keeps neighborhoods running smoothly and looking their best. Our team manages every layer of community upkeep from consistent, fair covenant enforcement to proactive common-area maintenance, including landscaping, amenities, entryways, and shared infrastructure, so your neighborhood continues to reflect the pride residents took in it from day one.

Financial stewardship is at the core of what we do. We support the accounting and financial needs of all of our associations. AAM has partnered with various associations to implement financial operating models that provide strong controls, increased efficiency, enhanced tools, customized reporting, strategic analysis, and expert financial support. Board Members get the reporting and tools to make confident decisions, backed by a financial infrastructure built for accountability and long-term stability.

Homeowners benefit just as directly. They get responsive local support, a dedicated customer service team ready to assist with day-to-day questions and requests, and with AAM All Access, homeowners also have a self-service resource available anytime. The result is a neighborhood that runs predictably, looks its best year-round, and is governed by a Board that has the financial confidence and operational support to lead effectively.

Why HOA Boards Choose AAM

You didn’t volunteer to spend your weekends managing vendors, fielding neighbor complaints, or waiting on a management company that never calls back. You volunteered because you care about where you live.

Board Members choose AAM because we show up with a community manager who knows your community, real-time financial visibility through BoardVue, a homeowner app that stops the late-night texts to your personal phone, and a team that knows this market: the vendors, the climate, the Indiana HOA statutes, and what good governance looks like in this region.

When you choose AAM, you choose a partner you can defend to your community. Because this decision isn’t just about your Board, it’s about every homeowner who trusted you to make it.

The communication that we received from our community manager is always spot on. If we have a question if we have an issue if we have a concern of some sort, she is very responsive. She guides us and makes recommendations so that we can make decisions based on information that we are either given or directed to. Having never been involved on an HOA Board I find her to be extremely helpful.

Linda H.

Victoria and Leah have been very helpful and supportive to the Board as we transitioned from the 2025 to the 2026 Board as well as during the transition of the hiring and training process for our Community Manager, Lifestyle Director, and Administrative Assistance which took place in a short period of time. Our "new" Community Manager and Life Style Director seem to be a good fit for the current needs of our community.

Alice R.

Company has been responsive to request and meets the service needs of the community.

Sharon V.

Managing a community as large as ours can be challenging. Especially when you have a high percentage of renters, as we do. Even many of the homeowners do not appreciate what an HOA does for their neighborhood. It is good to have a company such as AAM and it's employees to take on the majority of the workload. Special thanks to our community manager and the staff that helps her stay on top of our community.

Douglas S.

Our community manager is extremely helpful in managing our vendors. I can always count on her to handle all communications with our community in a timely and professional manner. She makes my job easier as President of the association.

Bruce M.

The client experiences come directly from AAM's annual Board Member Survey, an independent assessment we conduct every year to hold ourselves accountable to the communities we serve.
