Legislative Updates

Friday, February 22, 2019 was the deadline for bills to be heard in their primary committee, legislatures worked hard to ensure their bills received a hearing.

Friday, February 15th marked day 33 of this legislative session and there have been a total of 1,289 bills introduced.

This past Monday was the deadline for bill introductions in the Senate and next Monday is the deadline for the House. 

The 54th Arizona Legislative-First Regular Session kicked off, Monday, January 14, 2019. While still in the period for new bill introductions, Members are working with staff to draft and introduce new legislation daily.
