Legislative Updates

The 54th Legislature, 2nd Regular Session, adjourned Sine Die at 11:21 A.M. on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. The General Effective date when new laws from this session will take effect is Tuesday, August 25, 2020. 

This session, there are a couple of bills currently on our radar that may directly impact Arizona HOAs.

Friday, February 21st marks the last day to hear a bill in its committee of origin. After today, if the bill hasn't been approved by its committee of origin, then it can be considered "dead." 

In total, 1,581 bills have been introduced, which is a record year for bill introduction at the Capitol.
